Photoshop Tutorial

Live Photoshop Tutorial

Are you thinking about getting Photoshop (PS) or one of the similar applications, but are not sure you can handle it? Or perhaps you have one of these applications, but feel unsure or overwhelmed? I am offering a live PhotoShop tutorial via Zoom.

This is an introduction to PS or a refresher if you have some experience with the application. In the tutorial I will cover some basics of PS including, how to open a file and prepare an image for submission to an exhibition,  including cropping and resizing an image, some tools, simple work with layers and filters and more. If there is time I will cover a few more advanced things like how to square up an image and drop out a background.

Students will observe me working and have the opportunity to ask questions in real time. The tutorial will be recorded so the students will have unlimited access to the recording.

Many of the things you can do in Photoshop are similar to other smaller applications like Elements. I am working on a Mac. If you are working on a PC some of the commands are different, (I will cover a few of these), but the application is the same.

I have been working in PS for nearly 20 years mainly to design and create cartoons for my tapestries and prepare images for exhibition submissions.

The cost of the two hour tutorial is $40 and includes unlimited access to the recording. If you are interested please contact me at:
