Warping, preparing to weave and weaving the hem on Never More
Here is a short video showing the process of warping a large black pipe loom. This is a verticle loom layed down to facilitate warping. The tapestry to be woven, Never more will be 75 inches tall and 54 inches wide. The weaving area on the loom is about 96 inches long by about 66 inches wide.
You will also see me making leashes for shed changing, knotting on sewing thread to hold warps in place once off the loom, tieing two rows of soumak for a fold and beginning the bottom border. Enjoy.
